My love for AI started with a simple question: how can machines see what we see? Growing up listening to my sister's medical school stories made me wonder how technology could help diagnose diseases, and I had to know how.

I didn't plan on being an AI engineer; I just kept following the thrill of "wait, I can make this work," and that itch to figure things out pulled me toward computer vision. When I built a Sign Language Recognition system from scratch with barely any computing power, I realized the next step was using AI for real impact, and that's how I got into building tools that matter. Now working on GrantWell to help Massachusetts communities access federal grants and researching radiation safety in medical imaging, I'm learning to make complex systems feel effortless in someone's hands.

Outside of code, I'm a traveler, a connector, and a collector of tiny moments. I've explored 10 US states so far, grabbing a lapel pin from each one, and I'm always planning the next adventure. I love photography, chasing good food, and getting lost in unfamiliar cities. Whether it's mentoring students through tricky assignments, running hardware labs, or volunteering with AYUDH, I'm happiest when I'm bringing energy, clarity, and a bit of joy to the room.
